Stop for lunch as everything else was closed along the Cabot trail. The club with soup were amazing. Actually still thinking of that soup a week later... Home food, great service. Definitely worth a stop.

Perfect spot for cyclists, motorcycles or anybody looking for a simply beautiful place to stay. The accommodations are nice although some of our companions reported a bad mattress and water pressure dropping mid-shower.The property is large and well kept. A perfect location for whale watching, hiking, cycling and the breathtaking views around every corner.

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin for 2 nights. It was a clean, comfortable place to stay while we explored the area. The restaurant was convenient on site with good food and nice staff. If you have trouble functioning without your electronic devices, the Cape Breton Highlands may not be the best area for you to have a vacation!

Important thing is the location. Most of the motels and resorts were away from this area and we wanted one near to skyline and gypsum mine. This was our great decision and room was clean and cosy. Morning views are so amazing . Perfect for a stay.

Its a clean and cozy cabin with all the amenities you'll need for your stay. The kitchen was fully equipped and beds were comfortable. The only con is that there is extreme network issue in this area so be prepared to loose cell phone network and wifi. Also, I requested the front desk to help me since I was having issues with the wifi and she said she'll send someone to my cabin but no one ever came to help.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is nice. The rooms are clean but old. The A/C was extremely loud and one of the mattresses was very worn out and uncomfortable. The mattress of the other bed was new and comfy. The breakfast was very good.

Menu choices range from home cooked hamburger platters to full Lobster dinners. Chef salad was fairly bland but the burgers and dessert choices were flavorful. Service was great and staff were super friendly. Prices are very reasonable. We just stopped to eat after whale watching. No report on the rooms as we didn't stay there.
